S’ Residences is exclusively meant for students of DSU who are seeking a comfortable and safe accommodation near the campus. The student housing facility has various rooms that can accommodate four students at a time. The rooms are available on a lease basis for the entire academic year.

To secure a room in S’ Residences, the students have to pay 100% fee in advance along with a security deposit. This amount is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. The security deposit will be refunded at the end of the lease period, provided that there is no damage to the property or any breach of the terms and conditions of the agreement.

In addition to the advance fee for the room, students are also required to pay 100% advance fee for subscribing to the SSquare mess halls and other miscellaneous value-added services offered by S’ Residences. This fee is also non-refundable and non-transferable.

The following are the terms and conditions of S’ Residences that the students must comply with:

1. The lease period is for the entire academic year and cannot be terminated midway.
   
   
2. The room allocation will be done on a first-come, first-serve basis, subject to availability.
   
   
3. The students are responsible for their personal belongings and are advised to take appropriate measures to safeguard their property.
   
   
4. The students are not allowed to sublet the room or allow any other person to occupy the room without the written consent of S’ Residences.
   
   
5. The students are expected to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the room and the common areas. They are responsible for their personal hygiene and sanitation.
   
   
6. The students are not allowed to indulge in any activity that is illegal or immoral. They are expected to follow the rules and regulations of the facility and the institution.
   
   
7. The students are not allowed to alter or modify the room or any of the fixtures or fittings without the written consent of S’ Residences.
   
   
8. The students are expected to pay the rent and other fees on time. Any delay in payment may attract a penalty.
   
   
9. The students are required to vacate the room at the end of the lease period, failing which they may be liable for eviction and penalty.
   
   
10. The students are required to sign a lease agreement and abide by its terms and conditions.
    
    

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, the students acknowledge that they have read, understood, and accepted the rules and regulations of S’ Residences. Any breach of the terms and conditions may lead to termination of the lease agreement and eviction from the facility.
